IndianOil signs pact for 2010-11
Business Line, New Delhi, March 16, 2010

IndianOil has said that customer satisfaction and sustainable development are the focus areas
for 2010-11.

In a statement issued here on Monday, the company said, “Customer and sustainable development are in sharp focus in the annual memorandum of understanding (MoU) between IndianOil and the Government for the year 2010-11.”

Drawing from the ‘Oil Sector Vision 2015' – a document of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas; the MoU focuses on customer satisfaction and expansion in rural areas. Sustainable development practice and innovative research and development approaches are other new areas that find places in the MoU, the statement said.

In the MoU priority has been accorded to timely achievement of major projects including the grassroots refinery at Paradip, and fuel quality upgradation project at four refineries and new pipelines between Chennai-Bangalore and Paradip-New Sambalpur-Raipur-Ranchi.

The MoU was signed by Mr. S. Sundareshan, Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, and Mr. B. M. Bansal, Chairman, IndianOil.
