Director (R) visits Mathura Refinery

New Delhi, March 15, 2010

Mr. B. N. Bankapur, Director(Refineries), visited Mathura Refinery on March 13, 2010, to study the performance of Mathura Refinery’s ‘Prime-G unit’, commissioned on February 20, 2010. Mr. J. P. Guharay, ED, Mr. C. Shankar, GM (TS), Mr. V. K. Gupta, GM (F), and other senior officials received Mr. Bankapur.

Mr. Bankapur, inaugurated the newly constructed IOOA office building at Mathura Refinery Township and met the Office Bearers of the Association and the Karamchari Sangh. He wished the employees of Mathura Refinery all the best for achieving their target of increasing the refining capacity to 11 MMTPA.

He also stressed on the reduction of carbon emissions, fuel losses, water usage, creating own water resources by adopting rain harvesting, cost reduction by completing the projects on time and many other issues which would enhance the overall performance of IndianOil.

Mr. J. P. Guharay, ED, in his address assured all on the performance of the refinery and informed that the Refinery is prepared to supply Euro-IV products in the critical NCR market. The vote of thanks was offered by Mr. K. Vijay, DGM (HR).
