There is a need to have a society where there is  not even a single family to whom we are not able to give work. there is a need of action where everyone gets atleast school education then we will not be ignorent to have large families.

I also agree with other billions of indians that unless police and politicians behaviour is not regulated, this gap will keep on rising & such suicide will keep on happening. We even in a-b-c grade pay so much of monthly i.tax which is morethan the min. wages of five-six people, then where the money goes. It goes in repayment of loans of rich farmers.

NREGS  money is not going into the hands of such people who committ suicide with three more lives.

I may be going much away from the topic, but can we all officers combined chalkout a programme where we can find out such people and can help them atleast to   the extent that they dont'' die hungry. a small contribution can save a lot.

it is not jai ho, it is shame ho.

It is a real fact of our country.  No one bothers about poor people/needy persons.  Most of us are running after accumulation of worldly heap to an unrestricted living.

No one can be spared from taking the responsibility of making such mess of the situation.

We have to think how to resolve the problem.  I opine that the such problems cannot be removed fully, but it can be minimized by our efforts.

This is happening because of inequality in income distribution. The fruits of our economic developement are not reaching the lower level.

To have a balance economic development stop immediately spending on facilities on metros,  instead divert availbale fund to give more civic facilities, infrastructure to the rural areas.

Though our cities have no world class civic facilities, what ever fund you have first divert that to rural areas, this will stop further rise of real estate prices of cities and as good civic facilites gets developed in rural areas shift of population from rural areas to metros will slow down and vast differential in real estate prices will narrow down and if this haapens our economy may grow from present 8% to 14% and the gap between rich and poor will narrow down.  This may lead to rise in prices of food items more that what we see today but instead of dying for not having money to buy food , lower class of the society will have buying power to satisfy their hunger.

Regards

REALLY ITS A MATTER OF SHAME THAT ON ONE SIDE WE ARE SPENDING HUGE MONEY ORGANISING THE COMMONWEALTH GAME AND ON THE OTHER SIDE PEOPLE OF INDIA GOING TO DIE BECAUSE OF HUNGER.

PM IS BUSY TO MAINTAIN THE GROWTH RATE WHICH IS FAR FAR AWAY THAN THE REALITY.

THERE IS NO MAHATMA WHO COULD FEEL THE PAIN OF HUNGER PEOPLE.

THE FRUITS OF ECONOMY IS NOT GOING TO THE POOR PEOPLE BECAUSE THERE ARE MANY TYPE OF INSECTS EATING THAT FRUITS BEFORE REACHING TO THE NEEDY HANDS.

MR GUPTA IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ANY ORGANISATION TO DONATE MONEY TO HELP THESE PERSONS, I WONT RECOMMEND ANY OF THE ORGANISATION. THE BEST OPTION IS YOU YOURSELF SHOULD SEARCH THE PEOPLE LIKE THIS AND HELP THEM. IF YOU TRY YOU MAY FIND SO MANY PEOPLE AROUND YOU.

MR PRADEEP

ITS TRUE THAT WE ARE ABLE TO PAY RS 30 PER MONTH OR MORE TO THE IOC BUT THE QUESTION IS HOW IOC MANAGEMENT IS GOING TO SPENT THAT MONEY.

IF IOC DEPOSITS THIS MONEY TO THE PM''S RELIEF FUND THEN BETTER IDEAS IS NOT TO PAY THE MONEY.

Friends money is not a problem, as many of you suggested the absence of better system is the problem, because

Govt last year spent 95000 crores for the NREGS but the audit report says only 45000 crore was actually reached the end user rest 50000 crore was pocketed by the middle man, start from MP''s / MLA''s / Panchayat / Local head/etc

and for the FY 2009-10, tax to be collected is estimated to be around 117000 crores but the finance ministry successfully hide the fact in the budget presentation and indirectly favour those defaulters.

We have plenty of fund but every tax payer money goes to someone''s pocket,

Democracy is the problem

Message It is absolutely shame for us that our fellow countrymen are dying/ killing themsenlves becuase of hunger. My personal feeling is that contributing money to any organisation or formation of new umbrella to help the needy will make hardly any difference. Apart from Govt. and govermental organisations there hundreds of NGOs and other independent bodies/clubs etc already exists in our country, Lacs of crores of rupees are allocated every year to help the needy people and we still see people are dying. Please be your own organisation, your own NGO and do it on your own. If one tries to look around his own peripheri where he/she resides/works can easily find that there are n numbers of people who actually need our helps. If you can find some time in day/week/month keeping your ego aside and go down to people who are in footpath/basti or even in and around your high rise appartment you yourself can find who actually need help and do this job effectively and efficiently. In this way beneficiary will get your help directly and you will also have sense of satisfaction that your hard earned money has not been wasted and there will be nobody to be blamed/ get blamed.

MR Saurabh Jaiswal

Your are absolutely correct, it is bitter truth

After opening up our economy, who is benefitting/enjoying, millionaire turn to billionaire but the under privileged yet to find the bottomline.

Now they are going to open up education too in the market in india, any foreign invester can invest in education, to open eduction industry it required millions of acres of land where they will go obviously turn all fertile land into concrete jungle, in this process again realty mafia will enjoy but the farmer the same story.

I think our organisation has allotted funds for socialising.

But I dont know how seriously the funds are meeting the needy ones. we can form groups for each region with a team leader and utilise these funds for sponsoring the needy.
