Can anybody convey from where the figure of 33% come in the reservation for women in legislature is concerned? Why not 25% or 50% or whatever?

The above is in respect of pending historic constitutional amendment bill.

 One of my friend conveyed that there is an old saying that every lady has sixth sense & going by same logic he further added that modern lady has 2 sixth sense, hence 1/6 + 1/6 = 2/6 = 1/3 ~ 33%.

 Another friend contended that no. 8 resemble more with ladies, but figure for reservation cannot be at as low as of 8% or as high as of 88%, hence to make solution more workable the 8 has been divided into two parts & kept side by side to make 33%.

 I do not know whether above logics are correct or not, but atleast satisfy the question temporily.

Going by the Almighty’s logic of  reservation among his human subjects, it must be 50%.  But from time immemorial,  this logic has been undermined.  And India  decided to take the first step. 

One…Two…Three… is another logic to start the game.

It is starting with One (ie.33%) and hopefully, if there is overwhelming participation,   it may not be long – the target group will demand for  stage Two  (50%) – till that stage, man may not have the locus-standi  to dispute  -  if one goes  by the Almighty’s logic.
